"Sly" Resin in Smokey Grulla Overo Sommer Prosser + Josine Vingerling

Last year’s Autumn resin sale was such a success, I’ve decided to do it again! This time, instead of all horses being offered in one batch, each auction will be released one at a time! Stock is first, which will be followed by Warmblood, and hopefully two or three more new models in October, if all goes according to plan! 

First in this spooky season series is a fresh new face - “Sly” is the latest Stock resin from Josine Vingerling, known for her highly realistic resins that are packed with subtle details. Some of her popular Stock resins include “Lola” and “Miss Lizzie” and this handsome stud would be a great companion for either of those resins. 

Meet “Granite” a handsome Paint stallion who hails from the ghost town of Tombstone, Arizona. He loves to work hard entertaining tourists and enjoys being dressed in old west period attire and being fed apples by the visiting tourists! Never even flinching during the nightly mock gunfights, Granite is known for being steady as a rock for his lucky cowboy rider.

His deep gray color is reflective of barren mountain peaks, with patches of white like moonlit clouds passing over a dark sky. Tough as the stone he’s named after, this rugged cow pony is a just-right Grulla color, who features lighter countershading in his mane and tail, zebra stripes on his legs, and dorsal stripe.

Splotches of smooth white dress him up in a loud Frame Overo pattern. Smooth acrylic finish throughout, he also features added pink shading on his muzzle, socks and heels. He has two blue eyes as well for extra interest. He was coated with extra layers of clear to protect him well, and is now ready and waiting for his new home!

“Granite” has a starting bid of $1500 and NO RESERVE - he will sell with just one opening bid. 

Trades? At this time I do not need any trades, but if you already bought this exact “Sly” model, I would be willing to swap out your blank copy and credit you $374 towards your unpainted resin. You would be responsible for the balance, to cover the cost of paint and prep work.

Time payments are accepted if you have all greens and NO REDS on any of the “Transactions” boards. Minimum down payment is $500 and buyer has to finish payments within 6 months of purchase. No refunds on time payments. I do allow one late / skipped / missed payment in case of emergency, but if there is no payment within 60 days, the model and all payments are forfeit and the model will be put up for sale again.

If you already have a solid history of many successful Time Pays in the hobby, including plenty of green lights and no red lights, there is no need to contact me for approval before bidding.

Postage is $30 for the lower 48 states, which includes full insurance. If you live elsewhere, please contact me for a shipping total.

International bidders? This is a tough one, because of frustrating and nonsensical ever-changing tariffs, especially on a unique OOAK item that is not replaceable if lost. I am happy to ship to a friend in the US, if you live outside of the United States. As for shipping directly to International bidders, please understand that insurance MAY NOT BE HONORED most of the time if the item is lost or damaged - which makes me very nervous on a high-dollar item like this!

(Note, I do ship International on lower value items that I can easily replace - it’s the fact that I can not replace this paint job and the insurance might be denied that makes me worry!) For this reason, I would prefer to limit shipping to inside the US and possibly to Canada, which seems to be going okay at the moment.
