“Lieke” a Small Traditional Scale Friesian Mare in a lovely collected canter.
Some of you may know I recently lost my heart horse. My daughter thought it would be therapeutic to me to sculpt her in her honor. The memory I have of her that really stood out was taking her for a ride in the neighboring field. We had a bit of work to do getting ourselves to be in unison at the canter. Trotting was no problem but we were pretty unbalanced at the canter. This day however all our hard work paid off. We finally got our canter balanced and collected! It was am amazing feeling and an accomplishment! So that is what I chose to sculpt. A reminder that we could achieve anything if we worked hard enough.
Lieke is hollow cast by Resins by Randy with steel reinforced legs and tail. She stands very well with 2 acrylic rods on two hooves.
She will be limited to no more than 2 molds approximately 100 copies. I reserve the right to close the edition early due to life of mold.
