This is a Breyer Criollo Stallion with a new mane and painted a flashy bay overo. Criollo's have the wildest coat patterns and this one is no exception. Fascinating breed from Brazil and while most have roached manes, some do not and I wanted to show a wild side to this stud.
Seams and logo removed, carefully prepped and I used high quality acrylics, pastels and pencils to create this piece. Sealed with many layers of dullcote with glossed eyes, nostrils and hooves. The mane has wire mesh and pins so that it is very sturdy.
