Description

Tired of seeing my Polo Pony lying on her side because her original base had warped terribly, I decided to make a base just for her. This solid resin base was designed specifically for the Breyer Polo Pony by using Chavant clay, which was then molded and cast.

I designed her base in the same dimensions as the original, but with a textured grass effect on the top. Since the Chavant is non drying clay I was able to push the Polo Pony leg into the clay and capture the perfect slot for the model to stand in. Now, this base was fashioned after my personal copy of Breyer's Polo Pony from the early 1980s. Yours may have slight differences to the triangle nub which is attached to her hoof and the hole in the base may need to be adjusted with epoxy or glue and baking soda.

Fully painted base is NOT included in this sale. Breyer Polo Pony is NOT included in this sale. Base comes unpainted.
